Half the taste. All the fat.
24 hour mcdonalds. has different menu. i wonder when breakfast starts if it's open all day? instead of crispy chicken, they call it "southern style." there's also a texas double cheeseburger, i think that means that bun is bigger, b/c they have texas style buns here. bugs everywhere! numerous bites on my leg. the stars are lovely though. school starts manana. hooray..
Pretending to work
Three more pictures taken this afternoon.
First picture: Angleton's Football Stadium, when it gets packed, cars park at our lot, but that's when the waiters have to go out and kick them out. The vast stadium is located across the street from our restaurant on Wildcat Dr. (Angleton's mascot: Wildcats)(also the street where I got my warning last summer..)
Second Picture: The abandoned building that used to be Walmart, but now it's a County Clerk office (place where you get like marriage licenses, birth certificates, etc.) It still looks beat up, but I hope more people work there, that means more business, however, that means more work! =/ The building is located directly across from the front of the store on Highway TX-35.
Third Picture: Live crawfish! When I arrived at the store this afternoon, I saw the seafood truck and the delivery man! Delivered like 4 bags of live crawfish. There were some dead ones that we had to throw away because the insides of get rotten. I've never had a single crawfish in my life partly because I'm grossed out by their movements and petiteness.
Dead tired. Goodnight and stay tuned.

Pointless development of something silly
One awesome feature about this blogger is that you could send your mobile pictures straight to the blog! And it automatically creates a post for it! I tested it out, and here are two pictures from the apartment. There's that porch/balcony I sit on every night! =P
The Middle of Nowhere
Hello world!
First day working at the Bay Seafood Restaurant, located exactly in the middle of nowhere. You must already know what the weather is like here and yes in fact, it is blazin'. Friday's supposed to be the busiest day of the week, but surprisingly, it wasn't... Met four new waitresses, a new lineup this summer! (they never seem to stay..) My sister hates 3 of them, I don't really care, I just do my job. Also met the new cook whom is Mao's friend (our old cook who's in Minnesota). The tattoos on his body consisted of Khmer characters, compared to the typical japanese/chinese characters. Word on the street was that he punched out some Mexican guy at his previous job. Oh yeah, he's also a Khmer gangster and has a profound interest in motorcycles. I would say that he's in his mid 30's, but he's cool, nice guy. The restaurant has a new asphault parking lot, looks prettier than last time! Another change, we have new tables, called porches I think, I don't really know. Menu's still the same except that it's crawfish season now! Real crawfish from Louisiana (from the gulf) unlike the farmed raised crawfish at home! First day back was easy, I still remember how to cook! My sister claims that she know's how to cook In-n-Out burgers, but I don't believe her, she rarely cooks at home, and always begs me too cook her something. Small problem with the alarm this morning, constant yelling blah blah. It was annoying, my sister yells too much at my parents and criticizes. Summer school starts Monday for most of us..whoohooo! Logic's gonna be fun fun fun...
Saturday, June 9th. Drove auntie to airport at 4am morning, 2nd time driving to George Bush Intl Airport. Pit stop at the restaurant because I forgot my wallet. Speed limit was 65, the road was empty, dark, no street lights, wide plain grass field, so I went 80 and my aunt was still late the airport. Police here have nothing to do other than to pull you over; they wait at people's driveways late at night just to give a ticket.. Saw pictures of my grandma's headstone which brought me to tears.
Goodbye world and stay tuned.
